I love to write stories with heart, lols, and a sense of the ridiculous.

 

I write stories that sit where honesty meets humour — character-driven, a little weird, and always human. From children’s television to genre comedy, my work explores friendship,  unconventional families, identity, and the strange beauty of everyday life.

 

Over the years, I’ve written and co-created two seasons of the International Emmy® Award–winning series Hardball(ABC/Netflix), and two seasons of the supernatural comedy Spooky Files (ABC/BBC/NBCUniversal).

 

I’ve written and directed showreel scenes for NIDA for more than a decade, collaborating with emerging actors across countless genres and styles. I currently have projects in development with some of Australia’s leading producers.

 

In the book world, I’ve written eight children’s books, published in ten languages worldwide, including Zombie Diaries and Zoo Crew, with more to come in this space.

 

What ties it all together is a love of story: honest characters, strong emotion, and a bit of mischief.
