I'm Matt — co-creator of the International Emmy®-winning series Hardball (produced with Northern Pictures) and the supernatural comedy Spooky Files (produced with Tony Ayres Productions), broadcast by Netflix, the BBC, and ABC, and streamed worldwide. I write and direct new stories for kids' TV, publishing, and the screen — heartfelt, funny, and a little strange.
Alongside those credits, I've developed new content with some of Australia's leading producers, and co-authored two children's book series — Zoo Crew (Scholastic) and Zombie Diaries (Hardie Grant) — translated into ten languages.
Alongside my creative work, I collaborate with brands, agencies, and purpose-driven organisations to craft story-led films and campaigns. I've also spent more than a decade at NIDA, where I write and direct the third-year BFA Acting cohort's graduate showreels each year.
